Hello Wonderful People!

My week has been veryyyy good as usual! This Wednesday we started to exercise before school, everyday, and we are going to do that from now on! It is really nice to do it before school it gives you energy and you feel happy. Or you get a little tired because I have to get up at five now instead of six so you get less sleep, but when I am used to it I will probably not get as tired. This Friday was Victoria’s birthday so she invited me to come over to her house for a sleep over with some other friends. It was so nice of her and we had a lot of fun. We saw some movies talked ate and did not go to sleep until six in the morning. I woke up at eight. So I was a little tired yesterday. Kevin came and picked Cristi and me up and we went to the mall. Found some nice things. The best thing was the t-shirt that I have wanted for weeks now. It was just two left and one of them was my size! LUCKY! Then when we came home to Cristi I fell asleep in front of 21. Now I am talking to my amazing family! Love them so much! <3

So another week passed by as a lightning. This Tuesday I brought my bang to the game club. I love that game. I killed Kevin twice! xD First as an outlaw then when Alena needed to go he took over as a sheriff and then I killed him again. Oh well I did not do the killing shot but three life in a row. Let me see what did I do the rest of the week… Thursday was kind of a lazy day, almost all of my classes were just to sit there and entertain myself. Then in the end of the day they announced that the schools were going to be closed Friday because it was going to snow. I got a little sad, I wanted one year without snow, but at the same time I am glad the Cristi got to see snow. After school I went home to Cristi and fell asleep on her couch… I was tired… Anyway next day before seven Cristi’s host mom came in and told Cristi to look outside. “SNOOOOW” was the response and it took her less then a second to run outside. It was kind of hilarious. A little later I went out with Cristi to play in the snow, since it was her first snow. The rest of the day I was just lazy and did not do much more than watching tv.

Yesterday I spend almost all day doing note cards for my English paper. We have to do at least 10 source cards and then ten note cards for every source. I am half way! Whoohoo! I am planning to do two more today and then some more Monday, because we are out of school! It is so nice with a four day weekend; especially since we do not have a vacation until March. Today is Valentines Day. Later on I am going to go and by a birthday present for Victoria. She is having a sleep over soon that I am invited to. Then Kevin, Whitney, Alaron, and I are going to the movies and probably eat somewhere. We are going to see the Valentines Day movie. I hope it is good. The commercials make it look very funny. Then Wednesday I am getting a haircut! I am so excited! I am hoping for something different!

So this has been a good week. Tuesday I finally got to go to game club again and we played “carcassone”, I have no idea how to spell it! I did not win but it was so long ago since I played it so it was really fun. Right now I am trying to get the money to by Kingsburg another game that is AWESOME! Magdalena and Stefan agrees with me! I love that game. Later that night I made a lemon pie! It is really good, Cristi made one and then I just had to make one too! Yummy!
Friday my area representative and her husband and exchange student came down here to have dinner with us. It was really nice to see them again, it was a while ago.

Yesterday was the most fun day! First we went to school because it was time for interviews in school for next years class so we helped Host dad. Then we went to have lunch and it was so super delicious! I had a chicken burger kind of and it was served with amazing fries! We also took a trip to World Market where I bought some Maltesers and licorice. After that it was time to go home so Cristi and I could get ready for the Black and White Masquerade. I love getting ready for things like this and I love my dress. I flat ironed my hair this time because I want to have curly hair for the Prom. Kevin picked us up and we went to have dinner at Jim’n’nix with a group of friends. I was still full from lunch so I just tasted some of the food. They have cheese biscuits and they are really good!

Before we went to the dance we went over to Jeff’s house because he forgot his ticket and we took some photos there also. Then we headed for the dance. It was not as many people there this time but it was so much fun! The decorations were so nice and we had a great time! Everybody looked amazing. After the dance they handed the balloons with helium out and we inhaled it and made a video! It was hilarious we sounded so silly. Then we went home and I was super tired! But happy because I had an Amazing day with Amazing people!

Good Morning! This weekend has been very fun!

Friday Emilee, Cristi, and I had a doughnut competition! :D I won! It was so disgusting after a while! So sweet! Then we went to the mall and I bought some nice things! Converse, clothes and a belly ring. Then we went to see extraordinary measurements. So good and I really recommend you to see it!

Yesterday I was in a guitar competition but I got so nervous and played a lot of it wrong! xD but it is a good experience and I am so happy for one of my friends who won! Then Cristi and I have been fooling around with wigs! Awesome!

I send a birthday gift for Marlene and she got so happy so she made me so happy! Love you girl! <3

Well, next weekend is the winter dance! It is going to be so fun! I love my dress!

I am partying in the U S A!

Another week has passed by.. The time is going so fast! This week we had showcase in school. It is the biggest performance the school has during the year and all magnets are doing something in it. I was playing guitar with everyone from my magnet. Alena and I were the first exchange students to be in the showcase. She is in dance and all dancers were performing as well as all guitar students. It was really fun but exhausting. We started with checking sound and light Tuesday. We went directly after school and stayed until 8. Then the next day we went directly after school again but we did not finish until 10. Thursday was the performances. First we had one on the morning for all 8 graders that might going to go to BTW and it did not went that well. It was a lot mistakes with lights and sounds but it worked. Then we had a performance after school on the night and it went much better. It was around 1000 or more people watching each performance. I was not nervous at all until you were on stage and saw all this people. I was lucky, I was sitting in the middle on the back row and our teacher was standing in front of me conducting so it was hard to see me. It was really fun and they taped it so I hope we are going to watch it in school. Since I was playing I did not see all performances.

Friday, everybody was so tired and we did nothing. First period I had graphic art and my teacher was not there and I had no clued what to do so we were taking photos and half sleeping. The next period I had guitar and my guitar teacher was with some of the guitar students in another school playing for them, so practically we did nothing, well I did go and practice and I got some help with one of my pieces from another student and it really helped me a lot. The next period I had physical education and we did work out, not as hard as I usually do. I did 25 push ups in a row!! I am so happy! We are having a fitness test soon and I have to do 25 push ups without resting to get an A on that part and I did not think I could do it! Obviously I can! Then during my history class we played phase 10. It was fun and I am thinking of buying the game. I found some other games in the mall the other week that I am going to buy and give some friends in Sweden.

After school Kevin, Signe, Jeff and I went to Emilee and had a movie night. It was so fun just hanging out with some of my friends. We watched the latest Harry Potter movie which I had not seen so I enjoyed it even if the others had already seen it and thought that I was stupid when I asked obvious stuff. The all read the books and they all had seen the movie. I stopped reading the books in the beginning of the fourth one.

When I woke up Saturday morning I was sick. Not much just a little cold. Watch “It’s complicated” on the computer. I have missed the chick flicks a little. Host mom and Host dad hate the chick flicks so I never get to see them. Well I have seen some of them at Cristi’s house. On Monday is Martin Luther King’s birthday so we do not have any school. Wonderful! Just four days of school. I miss you all! Hope you are having a great time! I am indeed!

I liked this week! First Monday I had a great time with Kevin and Andrew at the mall. I found some presents for my dear ones at home.
Then school started again after a lovely vacation. It was not that bad, nice to meet all friends again but not very fun to go up early in the morning; Sooo hard since I have been sleeping so much during the vacation. Since it not very common with cold weather here the schools were closed Friday so we had a three day weekend. It was called a snow day, it was not any snow, just some ice on the roads. Nice to be home from school! I have spent the most of the weekend with Cristi at her house, made marshmallows and pancakes and some other things. We watched a lot of movies, probably like six movies. Last night I fell asleep at the movie I wanted to see the most. I got so mad; I will have to see it again. I also crocheted a scarf. It is cozy and Host Dad has lent me one of his jackets that is warm so now I am ready for the cold! They keep bugging me about that I am supposed to tolerate the cold better than everyone else since I am from Sweden but I keep telling them that is why I choose the Southern.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I know I am a little late and that I have not updated in a while.

Well tomorrow is the last day of my winter vacation and I am going to go and have fun with Kevin, Andrew and maybe some other girl that I do not know. We are going to ice skate! I did that last week and I really thought that I had lost all of my skills in it but it turned out that I actually could skate kind of good. Not super good but at least I did not fall and I could go in a pretty good speed.

Christmas was wonderful! Of course I missed my family and all traditions we have but I had a great time here in the US. A lot of new food that was amazing and I met a lot of new people in the family. I also got a lot of Christmas presents. Much more then I was expecting. I got a album where you can collect all the 50 states that are on the back of the quarters. I am half way and I really hope that I can finish it before I go home. That would be so cool! I also got a bracelet with American coins hanging down from it. I love it! I love all of my Christmas presents but I am not going to tell you about more.

New Year was so different from what I am used too, not just because Marlene was not there. New Year is not as big here in America; Christmas is the biggest one, so you do not celebrate it as much as in Europe. I got ready in one hour and a half, pretty good if you compare with last year. Ask Marlene for more information about that! After I got ready I went away to celebrate the New Year with Kevin and his family. I had peanut butter and jelly sandwich for the first time, let me just say that it was useful, I also had sloppy Joe’s for the first time. Yummy! We played super Mario on Wii, I was not very good and I died all the time. We also shot some fire works. They had a cracker that was 1000 cracker in it! It was long and it took a while for it to burn! Kevin’s mom had bought this New Year stuff, big 2010 glasses and necklace and hats and all so we looked kind of ready for the New Year to come. I did not ring in the year with them, I went home around eleven but I made Host Dad stay up and Host Mom ended up staying too. Well she was playing Farmville but at least she said Happy New Year when it was time for that.

Yesterday I stayed in my pajamas and watched One Tree Hill all day! Until there was no more episodes released. Next one is on TV tomorrow but we do not have the channel, but it will not take long until it is out on the internet.

God Morning! I am having an awesome time!!! :D This Thursday was the first time I met Host mom’s mom. It was fun and I gave her a par of slippers I made and she liked them.

Yesterday was homecoming dance and I had a lot of fun! First Cristi and I was getting ready together and it took us a while. :P Then  I was going out for dinner with my date. When we were heading for his car his parents showed up all excited and asked if they could take pictures on us. So we went a way and they decided where they wanted us to stand and they took a billion of pictures and told us how to stand how to hold our hand and everything. It was so fun; the most of the pictures look really funny because I am trying not to laugh so much. Then we went to bonefish to eat. It was a fish place and I ate salmon, it was so good. The waitress asked if we were drinking and when we said no, she was like, what you don’t!? And then she asked how old we were and when we said 17 she was so surprised because she thought we look much older. It was so fun because she forgot what to say. After the dinner when we went back to his car his parents had put a frame with one of the pictures they just took and a photo album with more pictures.

Then we went to the dance and had a great time! The most of the music was hip hop and rap so it was kind of hard to dance to it; I think it was two couple dances at the most. But I had a great time! :D

Wiiiie! My birthday was awesome! The school was fun and my magnet class sang happy birthday for me! So BEAUTIFUL! It touched my heart! xD After school my family, Cristi and I went to have dinner! Pancakes of course since I was the one deciding what to eat. Nutella pancakes with bananas and strawberries, it’s awesome! I got so foul that I could not finish it, and I always finish my pancakes! Then I went to bowl with my awesome friends! I had to bowl with my left hand since I do not want to break my guitar nails. I’m not very good at bowling, especially not with my left hand so I decided to just do it one time with my right hand, and so I did. My nail broke of course. But just in the side so I am trying to glue it so it will not fall of. I have to have my nails to the concert which is coming up in December. Anyway I had very fun bowling and was exhausted when I got home.

Yesterday, ( Frida’s birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!) I and my hosts went to Montgomery. Both host mom and I got haircuts and I bought yarn. When we got home I started to knit with the biggest needles ever! So I finished it yesterday. It goes very fast when you have big needles. Now is it time to talk to my lovely family! :)
